B Corp Certification
We have the expertise to help you navigate the B Corp Certification process quickly and efficiently, utilizing project management skills and best practices. We offer an on-site, focused, supportive experience appropriate for existing and start-up corporations, LLCs, LLPs and sole proprietorships. We will help you develop a strong and collaborative relationship with B Lab (the certifying agency), and will provide a prioritized set of strategic recommendations to optimize your B Corp score based upon the certification standards and your company’s specific culture and context.
We will partner with you to develop a realistic, manageable, and concrete workplan with timelines, budgets and role assignments to keep your B Corp Certification on track to enable your company to re-certify every two years with relative ease. The Roadmap may include developing Key Performance Indicators, implementing specific activities for employee engagement, and fulfilling the legal requirement to become a legal benefit corporation in your state.
Once your company is a Certified B Corp, if you don’t (yet) have the internal resources to implement your Re-Certification Roadmap, we will work with your team on an ongoing basis to maximize the value of your B Corp certification and maintain steady progress in improving your company’s impacts on its workers, community and the environment. Services also include developing and training one or more internal team members to take on the B Keeper role(s) for the long-term.
Policy & Program Development
We will collaborate with you and your team to develop and implement context-specific policies and programs designed to optimize your company’s social and environmental impacts, while maintaining or improving the bottom line. Examples may include employee satisfaction and volunteer policies, corporate travel and purchasing policies, and environmental impact statements.
