The business community is shifting towards
using business as a force for good in the world.
We live in challenging times, and we’re facing unprecedented social and environmental crises. While government programs and nonprofit organizations have taken steps to address these problems, consumers are turning to the business sector and holding for-profit companies accountable for their actions and impact.
The business community is finally shifting towards using business as a force for good in the world, a trend that is reflected in several recent movements: B Corp, Conscious Capitalism, Social Venture Network, and BALLE.
Why Become a B Corp?
B Corp certification stands out from the rest as an initiative committed to measuring social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and stakeholder orientation.
Ultimately, B Corp certification demonstrates a company’s commitment to operating with a values-first mindset and adopting practices that make the economy and the world a better place.
When your organization achieves B Corp certification, you’re committing to transparency, sustainability, integrity, and accountability. Even more importantly, you’re choosing to positively impact your workers, your larger community, and the environment.
Not only will your certification give you a bigger platform, along with access to the powerful network of the global B Corp community, but our clients also gain:
A leadership position among sustainable brands
A deeper understanding of company operations
and implications of business decisionsA roadmap to enhance your impact and build strong
company culture over time

HPC PARTNERSHIP PROCESS
We start with a free consultation, to make sure that both B Corp certification and HPC are a match for your needs.
Next, we customize a work agreement to fit your needs, whether you’re looking for a hands-off project management approach (just to keep you on track) or a hands-on intensive approach (that includes research, documentation, and implementation), or something in between.
We’ll work together throughout the whole certification process, which typically lasts about 5-6 months, depending upon the size of your company, the complexity of your organization’s structure, and your target certification date.
After earning your B Corp certification, you can continue to work with HPC to improve your company culture, restructure your workflows, or work towards other certifications. During this second phase of partnership, the focus shifts from assessment to implementation. In the past, we’ve worked with clients to measure employee satisfaction, create employee volunteer programs, earn TRUE Zero Waste certifications, obtain Non-GMO Project Verified status, create visually-compelling Annual Impact Reports, improve supply chain engagement, and more.
To prepare you to renew your certification after three years, we’ll provide a re-certification roadmap and strategic, prioritized recommendations for improving your social/environmental impacts and raising your B Corp score over time.
